Hi everyone,
I hope the subject says it all. I totally understand the limitations here, the preferred method for corporate directory or personal directory is the Zoom client or mobile app - got it.
But that said, we have this peculiar need so is there anyway to display some kind of shared directory on a physical desk phones? Whether corporate, personal, doesn't matter as long as it can be centrally managed - no integrations needed, if we must upload a CSV somewhere in the back end to populate this directory - so be it.
How it's accessed using the phone's menus - also doesn't matter, as long as the user can get to it; their eyes come in contact with the directory and be able to select or search an entry and initiate a call.
Thanks
Boyan

Hi @Boyan
There's nothing to configure as long as the phone model has been certified by Zoom. It's just a matter of adding your External Contacts. The feature is called Company Search. See attached. All certified Cisco and certain models of Poly are included. See this Support Article referring to Supported desk phone features:

Hi @Boyan
Yes, there is. The method for searching and will vary by phone model and manufacturer. On Yealink SIP phones under Zoom Phone it is called simply Directory > LDAP. This includes contacts set up in the Zoom web portal under Phone System Management > Company Info > External Contacts as well as internal user extensions.
Photos 1 - 4 are searching with a touchscreen Yealink T58A.
See next reply for Yealink non-touchscreen (The max attachments on post here is 5).

Hi again @Boyan
This is the continuation of images when searching for contacts. The phones here are from a non-touchscreen Yealink T54W. On this model of phone, you use the physical buttons an on the dialpad to input letters and numbers (e.g. for the letter C, you quickly tap the 2 key 4-times), and you use the physical arrow and OK keys to move the selection and select the highlighted option.
I hope that helps!

And - at least for Yealink phones - you can set the phone to be looking up numbers in real time as you enter in the digits, much like the Zoom Phone app does.

Thank you so much @FORE-Craig and @enielsen - this is exactly what I want but sadly I'm Poly and Cisco; but nonetheless I'm curious - how do you push the LDAP config to the Yealink phones? You know, the root search string, the LDAP server and of course - the authentication info? Don't tell me that's locally configured - Zoom Phone System must have a way to push this kind of config to the phones, yes? Is it provisioning template? Thank you guys. Also if anyone has the equivalent solution for Poly please tell me!
