Hello,

I’m a student using Zoom on my tab (Infinix XPAD 20) with android 15. After finishing one meeting, my audio completely disappears in the next meeting. Reinstalling Zoom temporarily fixes it, but it fails again immediately after the next meeting.

It worked fine for the first two days after installation, but this started right after a system update.

What I’ve tried so far:

Force-closing Zoom

Restarting the device

Clearing cache / offloading app

Reinstalling app

Joining a test meeting before classes

Zoom version: 6.5.12.33008

This issue makes it impossible to attend back-to-back classes. Please help or advise if there’s a workaround for mobile devices.

You might try zoom workplace android app 6.6.0 available on google play. 

According to zoom release notes, current android release is 6.6.5 (34303) with 6.6.6 scheduled for 10/24/2025.

 Can you open a support ticket and let me know the ticket number? Zoom Engineering reached out to me about this issue. They need information from you that should not be in the Zoom Community.
