zoom won't let users on until I am on and I have all the correct boxes checked.

I've read all the instructions and think I have all the settings correct to allow participants to join the meeting before me, but they can't. No one can join until I join the meeting.

 

here are pertinent settings:

Waiting Room: off

Only authenticated meeting participants and webinar attendees can join meetings and webinars: off

If waiting room is not enabled, phone dial-in only users will: be allowed to join the meeting

block users in specific domains from joining meetings and webinars: off

Only authenticated users can join meetings from web client: off

approve or block entry for users from specific countries/regions: off

Allow participants to join before host: on,

participants can join 15 minutes before start time: checked
