In 2020 and 2021, telephone dialins from participants in Hawaii, to my zoom meetings had no problem getting into the meeting waiting room so I could admit them to the meeting. Beginning in Jan this year, participants who previous had not had any problem, have been greeted with the following after they call the zoom access number provided in the meeting invite (such as Tacoma and Denver): “The number you are calling from is not allowed due to geographic restrictions required by the meeting host.”
Since I am in Washington State, and the persons dialing in are in Hawaii, there can be no geographic restrictions, unless Zoom and forgotten that Hawaii is a state of the United States.
So what's causing this problem and what do I have to do to get it fixed?
