How do I disable AI Notetakers (otter.ai, read.ai, fireflies.ai, etc.) from joining our meetings

Apologies as not answering. I have the same question and frustratingly the Zoom bot tells me to do something that doesn't exist or I cant find:

Account Management/Account Settings/AI Companion/Toggle off Allow AI Companion to Join Meeting. CANT FIND THE TOGGLE OFF OPTION

Had a response from Zoom and they have suggested:

• Disable Otter.ai by signing in as an admin at marketplace.zoom.us then click Manage on the upper right corner. Then select Admin App Management > Apps on Account, all 3rd party apps installed by users on the account via Zoom Marketplace will be listed. Click Otter.ai then click Manage App. From here you should be able to disable the app so internal users will not be able to use it on Zoom. You can also remove the app from this page. (External participants will still be able to utilize Otter.ai underscoring the importance of enabling Waiting Room).

Here is the route I took based on the other responses.  Since otterai was not in my 3rd party apps.  Signing in as an admin at marketplace.zoom.us then click Manage on the upper right corner. Then select Admin App Management >Permissions, unclick app requests

Once I did that and logged into a meeting, an otterai request came up and I was able to select decline and to decline future requests.

It is a major issue in terms of copyright and privacy to enable AI , notes, transcript etc by default!!!! those features Must be disabled totally by default and only enabled manually by the host and no one else. We need this ASAP.

I have been having this same issue. What worked for me was logging into the note taker (Otter for me) and removing it from there. If you are like me and were using Otter.AI, you will need to remove it from your Calendar app. That’s what allows it to connect to all of  the video calls. I hope this helps.

I reached this page via Google, furious that a client today sent ONLY their AI note taker to my carefully crafted presentation!

Then I thought about it some more. The reality is that there’s nothing we can do to prevent it. Sure, I could have booted the bot out manually, leaving only the humans. But then the client wouldn’t have received the information they evidently wanted but were either too busy or unable to attend in person. It was socially rude but I have no idea what was going on in their life. The others enjoyed it.

Zoom could adopt a technical restriction to stop AI bots joining our meetings. That won’t solve the issue either. Our viewer could simply have an AI note taker app on their phone, listening in. If they pointed the phone towards the screen, it could ‘watch’ the presentation too.

Unless the AI industry agrees a technology built into all AI systems which recognises intellectual rights management (akin to the DRM system that’s built into music and video systems), which enables AI to recognise and refuse to process ‘restricted’ content, our efforts to ban AI monitoring is futile. The AI industry hasn’t yet demonstrated any respect for intellectual property. In fact, the opposite is true. So, I can’t see this happening anytime soon.

We must get used to a world where everything we do and say can be processed by AI.

I hate this otter.ai - someeonmee please heelp me remove it for good - shame on Zoom for allowing this and making so difficult to disconnect
