On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

The last 2 meetings I hosted, the meeting just closed out of nowhere- probably around the 20-minute mark. I have the paid version. Has this happened to anyone else?

Welcome to the Zoom Community, @elyssabloom.

It’s certainly unusual, but give it a few more tests. This could be a case where Zoom loses Internet connectivity, and while it will attempt to reconnect for a short time (10-20 seconds, I think), it will eventually just give up and close.

Also, please check your profile page (https://zoom.us/profile) in the License section to ensure that you do not see Basic in the Zoom Meetings info:

If it continues to happen after checking these things, please give some details of your setup, including device type and operating system, and how you connect to meetings (Zoom desktop app, Zoom mobile app, or web browser only).

Ray -- check out the GoodClix website or the Z-SPAN website.
