problem deleting an account

I just opened a new paid account.  I forgot to first delete my old free public account.   How can I delete it now?  When I follow the website instructions for deleting a public account it takes me right to the profile for the new account.

Do you have two different accounts, each with a different  email address?  Or are you thinking there are two different accounts, both with the same email address?
