live performance mode not sharing midi audio

Hi there,

My music partner and i have been enjyoing playing together over zoom using live performance audio mode.  We both use audio interfaces and mics during the sessions and all the audio from the mics is transmitting well. However, neither of us is able to hear the other play midi instruments in Logic Pro. In 'original sound for musicians' mode this was not a problem.

Is there a way to share this audio in live performance mode?

Thank you for your help!

Can you provide more information on the audio signal flow from Logic into Zoom?

Thank you. I'm using a UAD Apollo Twin interface. Normally when I used 'Original Sound For Musicians' and selected the UAD for input and output, other participants would hear all the audio from Logic. This isn't happening with the new 'Live Musicians Mode'.

The other participant is playing midi piano through Logic on his end, with a similar i/o

@bstrelko any thoughts?

@lostinspace  I’m also using Logic X and UAD Apollo Twin Interface.  Can you tell me how you are getting that signal to Zoom?  We’re going to do a live performance of one song with vocals, guitar, and keyboard.  I’ve been having a hard time getting sound to Zoom.  Any help would be much appreciated thanks!

If you are all in one location, use "original sound for musicians' which I've checked off at the bottom here. Then in your meeting window, turn on original sound for musicians in the upper right corner of your screen by clicking on it. That make sense?

@lostinspace thank you for the response!  Yes that did the trick! 👍🏽 Do you know how to get more than one mic or instrument coming through at the same time on UAD/Zoom?  I’m trying to use mic on channel 1 and keyboard line in on channel 2.  I’m having success with channel 1 only.  Thanks again for the help!!

not sure Mike, but check that the Logic channel for your keyboard is record enabled and input monitoring enabled. that might solve it. I often use two mics at once and that works just fine
