Hi, I'm having a problem with Zoom livestreams. When I use the whiteboard, the writing appears a long time later; it doesn't appear while I'm writing. If there are any possible solutions, I'd appreciate it. Thank you.

Hey @alfound
Thank you for your post. The lag is generally caused by one of three things: Internet Speed (Upload), CPU Overload, or Zoom Settings.
The delay you see is usually a bottleneck caused by your internet struggling to upload your drawing data or your computer being overworked. To fix the issue, you must first address your internet connection, as it's the primary cause for livestream lag. Go wired by using an Ethernet cable instead of Wi-Fi for maximum stability and speed.
You also need to lighten your computer's load, because the combination of drawing, screen sharing, and streaming is a heavy burden on your system. Start by killing background apps: use your Task Manager or Activity Monitor to force-quit every program you aren't actively using.
Finally, try adjusting your Zoom whiteboard settings themselves. If you are using the new Zoom Whiteboard, many users find that switching to the older Classic Whiteboard (accessible through the "Share Screen" menu) is less resource-intensive and works much faster.
Please take note of this setting when you access your whiteboard in the share screen button. If you won't be collaborating, just choose "Presenting". We believe that would be a smoother experience for you.

Hi, @lancetlc Hi, I'm trying out your solutions, but now I've run into another problem with the classic whiteboard. I activated it in the settings menu, but when I use it in a meeting, the other one appears and I can't switch it back to classic.

Any update on this? My whiteboard has been essentially unusable at times.
