My cursor keeps disappearing while using Zoom - I heard it might be due to a Microsoft update, but how do I fix it? It's a pain in the neck to not be able to use my mouse! I can't figure out what version of Zoom I have. I have an Asus laptop with high specs. When I go to "update management" where it's supposed to tell me if there are updates to be done, it says "no data".

Two issues. One is your Zoom update and version. The other is your mouse. Let's knock out the Zoom update first. As of today, 3/27/23, the latest Zoom version is 5.14.0. To check for updates, click your profile picture in the top right, and then click Check for updates. See the screenshot I added.
Now, for the cursor, I suggest increasing your mouse size and maybe even the mouse color for meetings. It makes it easier for your users to see and you to see. Click Start and type Mouse Pointer Style in Windows 11. Another screenshot for this. If this answers your questions, please click Accept as Solution.

Changing the size of the pointer does not help me because the pointer completely disappears when it crosses over a paticipant. This is not a sharing issue because it happens when O am not sharing.

Ok, now O see the cursor when it crosses participant videos and is around thr controls, bur not in the margins. I'm really not crazy. This is happening! O well.

If you are using the "Windows Inverted Mouse", it becomes 100% transparent when mousing over individuals (and sometimes controls) in the new zoom update. Very Frustrating... I can get my mouse visible if I change the Mouse pointer to "Windows default" and then apply.
