What are the advantatges that can have a basic user added in a paid account?

Can this basic user (in a paid account) designate alternative hosts?

Hi again, @MGarcia!

Many of the features you can take advantage of in a multi-user account require that the participating user be Licensed -- that is, must have a paid Zoom license assigned to them.  They can't be Alternative Hosts, can't participate in Scheduling Privilege, and a number of other things.

What are the advantages?  First, in a medium/large company where many or most employees won't be hosting their own meetings but will need to attend corporate meetings... it allows the company's Zoom admin to control the settings on the Basic accounts (as they can with all accounts).  Secondly, any account on the company's account can join a meeting bypassing some of the security requirements.  They can be invited directly into the meeting using the Participant window's "Invite" button.  It's also easy to allocate new Licenses to people that end up needing them.

Ray -- check out the GoodClix website.

Okay thank you! @Ray_Harwood
