Zoom not updating display name as a host

Despite updating my name in my Zoom profile, every time I join a meeting as a host from a web browser link, it overrides my information with an outdated name. Not only does it do this with the Zoom profile created with my work account (debunking admin not permitting a name change), but my personal accounts too.

Zoom does not use the profile name (First, Last Name) for the meeting name. If you sign in to your account on the Zoom client and go to "My profile" then edit the name and change the DISPLAY NAME that will effect the host name. Zoom uses a different name if you JOIN a meeting. That name can be changed by clicking on "join a meeting" rather than "sign in" then change the name in the text box below the meeting ID. Clicking a join link will use the last name saved from "join a meeting", which can be changed in the participant list after joining a meeting.
