Zoom chat wont work on Chrome os

Chrome OS
Version 108.0.5359.172

as up to date as it can be.

When students join a zoom call hosted by a teacher? none of the student chats get to the teacher.

All students are using the above version, and the teacher is using a Windows 10 PC.

I was told that only PWA works on Chrome OS, but it was working fine until this week.

We need a solution, and yet Zoom, google, or whomever do not offer any support on this end.

We have spent a lot of time trying to fix this.

• August 2022 - Zoom ended support for the Chrome OS App.
• November 5, 2022 - The app will no longer be searchable in the Chrome Web Store, but can still be accessed with the direct link.
• January 15, 2023 - When Chrome OS users click Zoom links, the PWA will automatically launch instead. This change will be made by Zoom.
• February 1, 2023 - The Chrome OS App will be fully removed from the Chrome Web Store and no longer available.

I have also found that the chat function has stopped working on the ChromeOS pwa version! It still works on the old app though!
