MY OLD MEETING ID NUMBER WAS CHANGED BECAUSE THE SYSTEM NEEDED UPDATING. I got a new meeting id in error. Hpow do i go back to my original meeting id #

Hi @BGOFF167 could you please confirm whether this was a generated meeting ID or a personal meeting ID when you scheduled your meeting? I'd also double-check that you're using the correct Zoom account credentials, because Meeting IDs should not change at random as a result of Zoom desktop client updates.

 

Thinking the only way the IDs would change is if you always use your personal meeting ID and when scheduling, you just chose 'Generate Automatically' instead of your personal meeting ID? 

 

Unfortunately, I can't gain access to your Zoom account here in the community to look into it further and set settings because I'd need Meeting IDs to analyze and research.
