My background is constantly out of focus - even when I take it out of focus.  Sometimes I want the background to be sharp and visible when I'm creating flipcharts or don't need privacy. This is no longer possible, the background is always blurred. Thanks for help.

Hey @Andy-Swiss! Can you please let us know if you're using a built-in webcam or an external one? Kindly reply with the make and model so we can check this out for you.

built-in cam (Lenovo Yoga), and it worked long time with no problems...

Hey @Andy-Swiss,

Can you please try to download and install the Lenovo Smart Appearance App from Microsoft Store, run it, and turn off the "Background" option by removing the tick in the box next to it?

Same issue here, working on a MacBook Air. Didn't have this issue a couple of weeks ago.

If your camera or Logitech webcam (like the C920s) keeps auto-focusing in Zoom on a Mac, try turning off Portrait lighting in Zoom settings to prevent unwanted focus adjustments and background blur.
