I have a Zoom account which I use for meetings of asmall charity. I have to be away. How can a colleague use my account to set up a meeting in my absence?

Note that sharing an account among multiple users is against the Zoom TOS. I know some people do it... but not a good idea and not supported by Zoom.
You can set to the meetings, and let him host them using the Host Key. See this Zoom Support article on the use of the Host Key:
