Toggle Mute via AirPods on MacOS

macOS Sequoia 15.0.1

zoom version: 6.2.3 (40682)

AirPods Max 4th Gen

AirPods Max fail to mute or unmute zoom when pressing the crown button. A notification from zoom pops up when attempting to do so, and it states zoom's inability to do so: "Cannot Control Mic with AirPods Max"
https://www.reddit.com/r/Zoom/comments/16zm69y/airpods_mute_feature_doesnt_work_with_macos_zoom/

This works as expected and will unmute & mute when using the iOS zoom app, so this bug only applies to the macOS version of zoom.
Please fix this!  It's a huge usability problem when taking calls from your laptop, and walking away for a short while.

This used to work for me on MacOS 15 Sequoia. At some point recently it stopped working and changed to what greenbloc is seeing: an error message instead of the actual function. If zoom is smart enough to say "I see that you're trying to do a specific thing" why can't it just do it?

Weirdly, it's started working again. Maybe I just had to quit zoom or reconnect the headphones? Not sure what did it.
