Time Limit Confusion

This might be a basic question but to avoid confusion I thought I would ask.

I used to have an upgraded account. I never paid attention to time limits. Now that I meet in person I am back to the FREE account. I booked a meeting for 2hrs which Zoom allowed me to book on my free account.  There will be multiple people in the meeting (not a 1:1 meeting). Will it kick me out after 40mins even though it allowed me to book a 2hr meeting? I just need to know if I should pay for a 1 month license for the meeting OR since it is not 1:1 can I extend past the 40mins?

Cheers,

tc

Hi @tcherewka! If your current license is basic, the meeting will be limited to 40 minutes so I'd recommend getting a paid license.

That is what I was thinking. My confusion is that I could book more than the 40mins ... and all the talk online seems to be around one-to-on meetings and capping them not one-to-many.

The 40-minute limit applies whether it's a 1:1 or 1:many type of meeting as long as it's being hosted by a basic user.
