UPDATE: NEVER MIND. I FIGURED OUT THAT APPS HAD TO BE INDIVIDUALLY AUTHORIZED BY THE ACCOUNT OWNER (WHICH IS GREAT FOR SECURITY). I ALSO REALIZED WE'D NEVER USED TIMER ON THIS PARTICULAR ACCOUNT. I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DELETE THIS MESSAGE BUT I WILL IF I FIGURE IT OUT.
"You cannot authorize Timer" is the message I get. I am host. "Collaborate with Zoom apps" checked for participants. On the website we allow meeting timers. This is a sudden change. We need the Timer app and have used the Timer app on this account in the past. I can find nothing on the web where this particular error message is discussed.
