Smart links in Zoom chat

I use Zoom as a trainer and many times need to send links in the chat. I would like to be able to use a smart link, but I'm not able to do that in the chat. Is that a possibility in the future?

We have a number of users asking about this in our company as well. Rumor has it that smart links (hyper inks with text that differs from the URL) were disabled due to security concerns in 2020. 

Zoom – it would be great for admins to be able to re-enable smart links for our domains.

Actually, I figured out that you can do it! In chat, highlight the text for the link and the link option will show up!

True – but it doesn't work automatically! My users copy/paste jobs with smart-linked job codes all the time.

The ability to re-enable smart links globally domain would be quite helpful.
