When I Share Screen on my Powerpoint presentation the audio volume is too low for those I am sharing with.  I turned my Mac and Zoom volume to the highest.  Any suggestions?

As an audio and broadcast engineer I can tell you that computer audio can be very complicated and especially on Apple products. several possibilities are:

If you recorded the audio check the recording on the original software to be sure that the volume is reaching at least -12DBFS for peaks.

On Your Mac (System-wide)

  1. System Settings: Go to the Apple menu > System Settings (or Preferences).
  2. Sound Settings: Click Sound, then the Output tab.
  3. Increase Volume: Drag the Output volume slider to the right.
  4. Check Mute: Make sure the Mute checkbox is not selected.

Advanced Mac Fix (Terminal)

  1. Open Terminal: Find it in Applications > Utilities.
  2. Run Command: Type sudo killall coreaudiod and press Enter.
  3. Restart Audio: This resets the audio daemon and can fix persistent low volume issues
