Scheduling a meeting invites are not being sent

Within the past month or so, whenever I schedule a meeting and add invitees, they do not receive the email. I have to send a separate email with a Zoom link that I copied from the original. How do I fix this? It is very frustrating that people are not receiving the emails for the meeting. Please help!

Thanks,

Chris

I have the same problem.  I now need to go back to the invitation and forward it.  There must be a solution to this

Thank you! Brilliant!! I just went and forwarded the invitation that had been stuck in my outbox. And it went to the recipients. And it is not a difficult thing to do so problem solved

when you say you forwarded the invitation that had been stuck in your outbox, do you mean your zoom outbox or your email? I'm trying to make this work too...

Experiencing the same problem with a twist; Zoom does not send the invitation when I send it, but the user receives the invitation a week or more after the meeting was scheduled to take place.

Did anyone get a fix for this?

Did anyone get a fix for this?

Did anyone from Zoom give an explanation for this?

This is terrible.  We pay significant $$ for our accounts . ..

I've been able to work around it by scheduling everything through the Zoom addon for OLD Outlook instead of scheduling through the Zoom app itself. It did not work reliably using the "new" Outlook.

The only work-around I have found is that when I schedule a meeting from my Google Calendar, it gives me the option to make it a Zoom and then I can send the invite to people so it comes to them as a calendar invite and they can accept and get the meeting on their calendar. I stopped going directly from Zoom.

Correct the desktop interface lets you schedule Zoom meetings but would not trigger a calendar invitation to attendees. This can be easily solved by scheduling from an email calendar (google, outlook). Or if you don't want to use an email calendar there are Zoom apps that lets you send Zoom invitations such as Salepager.

That’s good to know but it’s obvious that zoom makes this difficult to try and force us to buy the additional separate zoom scheduler. It’s not playing fair.

Same - so annoying.  I pay for this to work.

I was able to figure this out with the help of zoom support via chat. Similar to your case, my recipients weren't receiving any emails when I set a meeting invite, up until I finish setting up the Calendar and Contacts Integration - already a feature with my subscription so didn't have to pay any extra fee. Not sure if you have set that up already or not, I'll post the link and step below for anyone else to give it a shot.

You may follow this to set up calendar and contacts integration:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. Click Profile.
  3. Under Others, in the Calendar and Contact Integration section, click Configure Calendar and Contacts Service.
  4. Select a service.
  5. Change the permissions for the service.
  6. Click Next.
  7. Follow the on-screen instructions to grant Zoom access to the calendar/contacts service.
  8. After allowing access, you will be redirected back to the Zoom web portal, which will indicate the permissions for the calendar and contacts integration.

Hope that helps.
