Remove timestamp from recording?

I see a previous question from 2 years ago about this situation and I'm wondering if there have been any changes?
I just completed a whole series of recordings but did not realize the "add a timestamp to the recording" option had been checked, and it certainly wasn't onscreen while recording. Can I get it off the recording?
If not, does anyone have solutions for masking the timestamp?
Thank you 🙂

Hello, Nancy. The timestamp showing in the recording can't be removed from existing recordings. The timestamp is part of the recorded file. If you have the skillset, you could hide the timestamp with video editing software, but you would also be hiding part of the screen, which may include the speaker or screen. I added an image showing a timestamp in a recording. Removing the timestamp would remove my hand.

I have the same issue; although I unchecked the option to add a timestamp, it still appeared in the next recording. I've tried checking and unchecking it many times, but the issue remains unsolved.

Welcome to the Zoom community, @Kate-Vo! We're glad to have you here. Are the timestamps showing on recordings that you have hosted?

I would greatly appreciate it if you could figure this out for us! The timestamps are really intrusive.

Yeah these timestamps are annoying because I can't remove them even when I have unchecked both options of "Add a timestamp..." and "Display participants' .......".

Thank you for the response. Settings that had been previously changed for groups or users will be kept as-is. Account owners and admins can enable, disable, and lock these settings. Please coordinate with your account administrator to have it disabled.

I'm having the same problem. I've unchecked the option many times, but I still get timestamps in my transcripts. I am the host.

I still haven't been able to figure out how to stop these timestamps, despite unchecking the timestamp box. Until I figure this out, my fix has been to upload the transcript into ChatGPT and send these instructions: "Remove the timestamps and the number on the line immediately before each timestamp on this transcript." For some reason, ChatGPT has no idea what to do if you don't explain that it's a transcript.

Thank you so much for replying! I'm able to get here:
Advanced cloud recording settings
When I uncheck the box, the "save" button disappears and I get this message:
[exclamation point] Smart Recording with AI Companion settings have been moved to Settings > AI Companion

Is the problem that I haven't been able to hit "Save"? The box is definitely unchecked whenever I view it. This is my own account, so there's no other admin.
