The original sound for musicians is turned on at the beginning of the meeting/class that includes music in the background. During the meeting, this feature turns off on its own and searches for a different default speaker and microphone, which then disables the music for the participants. How can we stop this from happening?

Hello,
You are right. This is the new behavior based on many customers that demanded it. By default the setting is off and turned on during the meeting as required.

This response doesn't address the issue described above. I have a customer who is having the same problem. They have "original sound for musicians" enabled at the start of their call. During that meeting, the setting turns itself off. How can they stop this from happening?

I think Zoom is losing bluetooth connectivity to the speaker. So, in that case, you need to Bluetooth pair the speaker/mic again with your computer and then turn on "Original Sound for musicians".

i have had this issue too recently. Original sound turns off and Zoom switches from my external mic to the default mic on my laptop, and then back again. This happened repeated this past week. I am not using a bluetooth mic.

Hello! I experienced this today during voice lessons and saw that there was no closure to this discussion. Would appreciate suggestions. Thank you.

I too am encountering this problem. I teach ukulele lessons and original sound is randomly turning off during a meeting - sometimes to me and sometimes to my ukulele students. It has only started to happen to me fairly recently. I think it's a new feature (bug) that was introduced in a recent update. @Anonymous you need to fix this.

I have also experienced original sound turning off randomly during a meeting performance, which is horrible since it basically mutes my piano. I also experienced a problem turning original sound back on after it had turned off. To fix this I had to leave the meeting and come back in. Then I was able to turn it on again. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Definitely seems like a new bug.
