I would like to know if it is possible to use one zoom account for multiple meetings that take place on the same date and time.

Yes, if you purchase a second license.
The alternative is to use breakout rooms for each meeting if that is viable for the nature of the meeting's content - that is possible with one license.

According to zoom, the answer is 'yes' but in practice, the answer is no.

I was the primary host on two meetings that started 30 minutes apart, on a Zoom One Business License, and it forced me to end the first meeting - despite multiple alternative hosts on the same account in each meeting.
Very frustrating.

Hello,
A licenced pro user or free account is limited to hosting only 1 meeting at a time.
If you schedule a meeting with your Zoom license (meeting A) and assign an alternative host or cohost and then you start meeting B you will stop meeting A as your licence can only be used in one meeting at a time.
The alternative host / co host is depending on your Zoom licence being available. As soon as you start another meeting this is no longer true.
Regards,
