Missing Record-button in android-app

Hey Community,

i want to record my meeting, while i use the app on my smartphone, but the record-button is missing in the android-app. 

On my computer everything works regular.

Did annybody know, whether its possible to record with the app, and if, how?

Hi @Hannes_VP 

When in a meeting on the mobile app, you can only record to the cloud. Local recording is not possible outside of the desktop client. You would need to ensure you are the host of that meeting and that cloud recording is enabled for your meetings (web Settings > Recording tab > Cloud Recording).

Never mind, I finally found the answer in another forum reply.

I had the same problem as the OP here. I'd scoured the help pages and tried everything to no avail. Turns out you can't as basic user (no cloud recording for basic, only local, hence laptop or pc only).

You'd think they'd state that plainly on the related support pages.
