Microphone and video are not working

In my company, which carries out educational activities, we faced such a problem: some teachers at a meeting, clients cannot turn on audio and video (the buttons are simply not active), and at other meetings everything works fine for them. Can you tell me how to solve this problem?

  • Which OS is being used?
  • Which version of Zoom client is being used (assuming you're not using browser-based Zoom)?
  • Does Zoom client recognize the mic/speaker/camera in video / audio settings outside of a call?
  • Does your organization place any type of restriction on which apps can access mics/cameras?

 

Answers to these questions will best inform next steps.

- We use the latest up-to-date versions
- In other cases, everything works for clients, it happens that sound and video do not work from 2 devices at the client's meeting (although all access is given), but everything works fine on 3 devices
- No restrictions are set
