We scheduled a meeting a few weeks ago and generated a link from the invitation, which was then sent to a large group of participants. Unfortunately, now when trying to access the link, an error message appears stating that the meeting ID is incorrect… a disaster! Is there any way to correct a meeting ID?

The error message indicating an incorrect meeting ID usually means the Zoom link is invalid or expired. 

If you see this error, the meeting may have been deleted, the link changed, or there’s a typo in the invitation. Verify the meeting details or contact the organizer to confirm the correct link. 

Zoom meeting IDs cannot be edited once created. If the ID is invalid, you’ll need to:

1. Create a new meeting in Zoom.

2. Copy the new meeting link and ID.

3. Send the updated link to all participants.

There is no way to modify or repair an existing meeting ID once it’s distributed.
