I am having trouble joining meetings as a host although I have already been assigned as an alternative host. How do we fix this issue?

A couple of preliminary questions:

 

1.) Are you 100% signed into the Zoom account that is designated as an alternative host when attempting to join?

2.) Does the meeting ID you're attempting to join 100% have you listed as an alternative host?

3.) Are you sure that there aren't any restrictions on the meeting (only users from specific domains can join, etc) that would prevent your account from joining a meeting?

4.) What exact error message are you receiving when you are unable to join as host (if any)?

5.) Do you get the option to 'claim host' (from the participants sub-menu) when in the meeting?

 

These answers will inform next steps.
