Hello everyone,

Thank you for the help. First time user.

So I scheduled a meeting and we could see each other. But we could not hear each other.

Do I need to do something? Any advice, please.

We both had earphones.

I was on a desktop and he was on phone. I don't know if that makes a difference.

thanks

ashley

If the other participant was joined from a cell phone using the Zoom app, they would have likely received a prompt on how to connect to Audio - whether through the app or via a telephone call. They would want to choose app audio (not phone).

Actually you may also see a similar question at your end even on a desktop - using Computer Audio, or Telephone. You will want to use Computer Audio.

You will both want to make sure you un-mute yourselves.

You can also run a test meeting to test your audio devices at  https://zoom.us/test Can you test there?

Thanks, I am going to try again once he is back home with his laptop and can use headphones. I'll try again. cheers
