Hello,
There is a well-known feature in Zoom concurrent for like 5 years or more, so it must be here but I can't see it :
Where in a meeting do I change the volume of one specific person ?
Not everyone has the same microphone setting and I can't lower the volume for someone.
Is there anything yet ? Did I miss this option ?
Is it something Zoom devs have in sight ?

hi @v01dv01d ,
In standard Zoom, you can not control the audio of another.
If you take audio for production purposes and use ZOOM ISO, you can change the audio levels of each feed.
If on automatic, the zoom does try and compensate, but otherwise, no.
When you request a recording, you can select to have each audio separated. I have used this to ensure a set of speakers were all evened out on a recording, but that is not live.
hope that helps
John

Hello,
Thanks for the quick and complete answer.
What is Zoom ISO ?
I understand this feature could be harder to implement, but still, that's why I wrote the other ticket : sometimes people in my meeting are so loud (without intention to be, just their settings) that I lower the volume A LOT.
Then, I have this terrible notification to ask me if I did intentionnally put the volume too low 😞
You now understand how both of these posts are related.

Zoom ISO is for production settings, probably not for a single person worried about audio.

We hope that Zoom can normalise audio, but there are so many options now. With the wide range of devices and the way people use them, there can be a difference between loud and quiet people.

Thanks for the link. You are right that I won't ask to use it within my company for my sole purpose.
You do agree with me though, I like it. I felt like being the only one worried about that.
Is there any PO who reads messages in this community ?

Zoom does not currently allow adjusting the volume of individual participants. You can only control overall volume through your device or thedentaku.

Of course I can change the overall volume. But do I want to move the volume slider each time someone different is talking ? You know the answer.
About "thedentaku", your post should be flagged for advertising or selling some shady third-party product.
So still no decent answer to the most simple question on this board.
Is there any PO who has the ability to read, that can answer my question ?
Does this feature is even planned ?

Hello,
Zoom Iso is in no way shady. It’s a well known and respected tool.
There is no current ability to do what you want.
No one from Zoom is going to comment on possible future unannounced features.

That's why I mention "thedentaku" and not Zoom ISO.
If there is noone from Zoom, why does this community website exists ?
To help with current features ?
Ok then, what is the process to ask for features ? Using the suggestion form ?
I received a copypaste that let me think that it went straight to the bin.
So far, no answer here can be accepted as a solution.
