How can I find recurring, anytime meetings in the desktop client?

Since the last update, I can no longer see any of my recurring, anytime meetings under the meeting tab. Does anyone know how I can access them in the desktop client or is this another thing that I must do from the browser?

I am having the same problem. Can't find on the new Zoom Workplace, when I go to the Meetings Tab, where my recurring meetings (or scheduled meetings) are... Terrible!

This is REALLY annoying Zoom! Why have you done this?

First you took away our ability to schedule no fixed time recurring meetings within the desktop client, now we can't even see the meetings that are scheduled. What's the point of even having the client if I have to login through a browser to perform even the simplest operations.

If Zoom doesn't fix this soon I am going to start exploring a different platform.

I checked my desktop client and the recurring meetings are visible again. Instructions on how to view recurring meetings are here:

it did not work for me. It said to go to "meetings" but since I don't have any other meetings (not including my anytime meetings) there was nothing there. Very frustrating. I can only go to the actual website (not desktop) to find older (not recent) ones I scheduled.

same issue for me it did not work for me what i should i do that??

The format for displaying recurring meetings has recently been revamped within the desktop client. For no fixed time unfortunately those can no longer be scheduled in the desktop app as it was causing complications but can be scheduled in the web portal. There are also Zoom apps for scheduling and managing recurring Zoom meetings such as Salepager.

If you haven't already figured this part out. I found this very helpful.

Turn off  "Merge Meetings and Calendar tabs" in the Meeting section of the settings panel in your account on the Zoom.us website. When you do this all your recurring meetings will show up in the Upcoming tab in the Meetings tab on the Zoom Workplace desktop app. They will be large and executable and not just the tiny recurring listings in the RecurringMeetings> section at the bottom of the Home tab or merged Meeting and Calendar tab

I cannot find any "Merge Meetings and Calendar tabs" anywhere in the settings.

Hello @nannacecilie,

The setting for merging the Meetings and Calendar tabs was removed from the Web portal on September 16, 2024. For Zoom Workplace app version 6.2.0 and higher, the tabs are now permanently merged to enhance visibility of calendar views and meeting details. More details on this change are available in our support article: Using the merged Meetings and Calendar tabs. Using the "Agenda" option will provide a view that is more similar to the previous Meetings view rather than a full calendar view

If you would like to submit a feature request regarding the Calendar view, you can do so using the Give Feedback tab within the Zoom client.

Thank you, and have a great day!

Have you heard of Zoom AI Companion?

I came here to say that this is a terrible change.

I managed to find my recurring meetings (there's a tiny menu called "Recurring" at the bottom of the calendar view), but I really don't understand why Zoom keeps pushing recurring anytime meetings further and further to the side. To me, these are a key distinguishing feature when compared to e.g. Teams, and if Zoom keeps making it more and more difficult to schedule and find recurring anytime meetings, that makes it less and less valuable for me to pay for a Zoom plan.

Also, many of us who are paying for Zoom use it for work. Even if I have now found the recurring meetings again, I just wasted ten minutes of my work time for it. This is not how I want a tool to affect my productivity.

Please go back to the old ways that made it easy to schedule and find recurring anytime meetings.

You may have to have a paid account to do this.

Go to your account on the website zoom.us

On the sidebar, the 15th down in the list is Settings, Click on it.

In the settings panel screen It says AI Companion. General. Meeting, recording, etc

Click on Meeting.

In the screen that opens The top option is "Merge Meeting and Calendar Tabs".  Turn this off.

(If you don't see it, and the first option is "Show invited Zoom Meetings without..." then it may just be for paid accounts.)

If you turned it Off; then when you go to your desktop Zoom client, the meetings tab should have a window that shows all your recurring meetings in the sidebar. Make sure you have clicked on "Upcoming" and not "Recorded" at the top of the sidebar.

Yes, this change was terrible. A while ago, I found a way to show the meeting tab again but the Zoom changed settings again. I cannot find [Merge Meeting and Calendar Tabs] anymore. We should be able to access recurring meeting IDs more easily.
