I have a 1-to-1 Zoom Audio session scheduled with someone, and I will NOT be the Host. The Host has informed me that THEY will NOT be recording the audio session and that is up to me to record it. (I only have a basic/free account.)
I am on a Chromebook, so don't have the option to download a solid audio recording software. I've tried several google chrome extensions that record audio but I have yet to find one that will actually pick up the Host's audio with decent quality / volume.
I am wondering if I might have better luck recording the full zoom audio session, including the Hosts' audio, via the iOS Zoom app on iPhone?

So, there are a few issues to address and overcome:
- Since you are not the host, you will need to record locally. Local recording is not available on Chromebooks or the mobile apps, so you will need to join the meeting from a Windows or macOS computer with the desktop app installed.
- Again, since you are not the host, you will not automatically have permission to record locally. Be sure that when you are in the meeting, the host gives you permission to record. A section in this article can show the host how to do this: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362473-Enabling-and-starting-local-recordings
- Make sure you adjust the recording settings on the desktop app, as you may want to ensure it records a separate audio track for each attendee. This article details the settings you can access and use on the desktop client: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362623-Changing-settings-in-the-desktop-client-mobile-a...
Hope that helps and please make sure to mark the solution as accepted if this information is what you needed.
