Email notifications

I use Zoom for a meetup group, and attend other zoom calls as well.

I receive a notification whenever one of my  calls will begin usually as soon as a person logs in.  I also receive a summary of the content.

The problem is that the "From" address does not reference my group, but has the name of another person who leads a call for something entirely different.  The real email is  ***********.  It shows "person -different organization."

I use an address on outlook but use  apple mail on my mac.  Is this an issue with zoom, outlook, or apple?

Hey Frie! The issue is likely with how Zoom is handling the email notifications and display name in its settings. It’s possible that the account or host settings in Zoom are configured with another person’s details. Check your Zoom account’s Email Notification settings to ensure the correct email and display name are set. If everything looks fine in Zoom, the issue might be related to how Apple Mail displays the "From" field, but it's less likely to be an Outlook-specific problem.
