Does Zoom work on an Apple M2 processor?

I'm thinking of buying a MacBook with an M2 processor.  I know the M1 is supported, is the M2 also supported?
I've only read a handful of posts/stories where it hasn't, so I assume that the M2 is supported by Zoom

Cheers!

I contacted Zoom tech supported who have kinda confirmed that the M2 is supported:

Zoom tech support:

Upon checking the Zoom's system requirements and the specs of the Apple Silicon M2 chip, it appears that it should work.

It doesn't work for me and I'm completely stuck. Everything I've tried hasn't worked - so I'm stuck.

Bit strange that Zoom should be so tardy on such matters.

An update for anyone finding this post; I've not had any problems running Zoom on an M2 MacBook Air.  For those that have, make sure you download the correct version of Zoom

Thank you.  I’ve not been able to find the right one.

What download version is correct?

this-is-ham,

I have the same question as Amy11:

Where do you get the "correct" version?
(A little teeny bit of practical info here would really save us a lot of time....)

On May 3, 2023, I found a download link for Version 5.14.6 (17822) that says:

"Or, for Macs with Apple Silicon chips, click here to download"

https://zoom.us/client/5.14.6.17822/zoomusInstallerFull.pkg?archType=arm64

I have used this download as well and still have on going glitching issues and freezing.  Does anyone else have this problem?
