Direct Link Goes to Registration Page

The Direct Link to a meeting having  'Registration Required'

(like - https://us02web.zoom.us/j/8xxxxxxxx5?pwd=exxxxxxxxxxxxTNUVhcEdKbVlaZz09)

goes directly to the Meeting Registration page, instead of to the meeting.

It acts like the generated Registration Link

(like - https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZxxxxxxxx5cPlivge7FmFMM9vo)

Both links were modified to not work.

Is this supposed to happen?

I'm signed into the web and desktop client - 

  If  I scheduled the Registration Required meeting, the Direct Link works as expected.

  But the Registration Link still takes me to the registration page.

@MikeInWis2 Yes, this is expected behavior. If a meeting is modified to need registration, the Meeting join URL with the embedded passcode previously shown in the invite and on the meeting will still take you directly to the meeting.
