Registration link from app vs laptop

TIME-SENSITIVE QUESTION -- The link to the registration page works from a laptop, but the link from a smartphone or ipad takes you right to the Zoom meeting.  I need the link to go to the registration page from ALL devices.  What do I need to fix?

Hi @jillandmarc2, thank you for posting to the Zoom Community!

When you click the link on your iPad or smartphone, are you logged into the Zoom app with the same email address you used to register for the meeting? I ask because if the app detects you’re already signed in with a registered email, it may bypass the registration page and take you straight into the meeting.

If possible, please also try opening the registration link directly in your mobile browser (Safari or Chrome) instead of the Zoom app. This should take you to the registration page rather than launching the meeting.

I can't register because I'm the host.  But when my friend tried to register from her iphone and ipad, through the Zoom app, it went right to the meeting.  My husban said I probably need to put a note in the email invite that says

In order to avoid delays in registration, please register on your web browser (I.e. on your computer) and not on your mobile device or iPad.. But some people will need to register from their mobile device/ipad, so maybe I have to also say they need to register through the browser on those devices??  Ugh, this is so annoying and I am late in getting this out
