Checking for and Downloading latest version

Instructions say to check what version zoom you have go to your profile picture and click help and then about to get to that option.

When I go to my profile picture there is no option for help.  Any suggestions welcome. Trying to determine what is the latest version and download it if I don't have it.  When I go to the download center nothing happens when I try to download 5.9.

You have to be in the Zoom app not on the desktop client.

Once in the Zoom app if you click on your profile picture you

should get the updates option.

I am not getting the option either. 
I thought it would be quick to check but I've search the support article, followed every step but no option anywhere. Can someone please help? Mant thanks. Jane

Thanks   I still wonder if it is because i have Basic.  Does zoom act this way on computers that are not chromebook?  thanks  N3

Yes, works on computers that are not Chromebooks.  And works with Basic.

I went and uninstalled Zoom and reinstalled and I still don't have the ability to check for updates nor latest version. When I googled Zoom app and tried to download it (thinking maybe this was a different version than desktop, I received message "already installed". 

 

So I have followed all instructions I've found in community support and STILL cannot tell if I have the latest version or what version of Zoom I have.
