Camera not working after update

I am deeply disappointed in how Zoom handled the recent Zoom update.Last week, Zoom had me update to the latest and now my web cam no longer works. Not it just shows a black screen. I am on Mac Sonoma 14.1. 

 

This is a product excellence failure and the fact that no fix was pushed out in the days after is additionally disappointing. I've been using Zoom for sometime now but with Google Meet working better and free with no limit, I'm highly tempted to just switch.

Thank you for sharing, I thought it was just me. I did the update and now it won't let me use my external camera -- I get that black box instead. Massive failure and they need to fix this. I prefer the format of Zoom to Google Meet but may have to consider switching as well.
