Recently, zoom has started to cut off my calls at 40 minutes even though there are only 2 of us on the call. It says it should only do that with 3 or more people. Does anyone know why it might be doing this and how I can fix it? It didn't used to do it until a few months ago.
Thanks!

Hi Jrm,
Zoom updated its free user licensing restrictions in July to include 1 on 1 meetings in the 40-minute time limit restriction. You can read the release notes here https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/5809097508109-Basic-user-meeting-duration-changes

Oh I see, I hadn’t seen this and on the website it still said 3 or more. Thanks for that.

The warning message still says: "Your Zoom Basic plan has a 40-minute time limit on meetings with 3 or more participants. Upgrade now to enjoy unlimited group meetings." Apparently somebody missed that when the policy changed. I believed it and had Zoom shut down in the middle of a 2-person meeting.
