Audio not working on external speaker

Hi, Im using 9th gen iPad. Im connected to JBL charge 5 and everything is fine, but the second I connect to Zoom meeting audio starts playing from iPad speakers and not the external speaker. Help?

Zoom needs to step up and get this fixed. It's very much needed.

When connecting an airplay device in Zoom 5.17.10 you should see a bluetooth icon in the upper left area. If so click for the menu and select your device. If not then leave the Zoom meeting and go to the music app and play a song to be sure airplay is working. If it is working restart Zoom and check for the bluetooth icon.
