Audio input

Hi everyone,

I am having issues with my audio input on my macbook air laptop.  During a meeting my host can't hear the piano that I'm playing.  I have selected 'original sound for musicians' and ticked 'High-fidelity music mode'.  But the microphone still won't pick up the piano sound.

I have played around with all of the other settings, restarted the laptop, increased the volume to maximum and nothing fixes the issue.

Thanks,

Sol

Pay close attention to your screen and menus. You still need to turn original sound for musicians ON.

Hello,

In addition to what Storyhub has said, make sure your Mac’s  operating system Mic mode is using wide spectrum audio in your operating system settings.

Same issue, but Wide Spectrum is not available in the Mic Mode menu in Zoom. Apple says it's only available in certain apps. 😞
