Attendance in zoom meeting

Can zoom take attendance automatically?  and we often zoom with people who have training rooms so there is lets say 40 people in one location.  what we have been doing is having everyone sign in there name in the chat but then after we go through manually and take the attendance.  Since some of these zoom trainings are mandatory it's imperative that we document attendance.

Zoom has the ability to run reports that will tell you who was in a meeting. However, if a user is not authenticated and joins as a guest it will be recorded as a guest user. Are all of the attendees' licensed Zoom users? If so you could require authentication as part of the invitation.

No not all are licensed.  Too bad you couldn't have a link or maybe an app so that anyone on the zoom whether you have 10 people using one computer they could go to a separate sign in page to sign in each user.  We just had over 200 people and to account for all we have to save the chat and go through it.

You could potentially use a Google Sheet that is shared out via a link in the meeting and ask all to sign in on it or better yet a Google form.
