Alternative Host not Working

I'm the owner/admin for our company's Zoom account and I regularly schedule Zoom meetings. Adding an alternative host has become impossible to set-up and I have to start the meeting and hand over the controls.  They have a business license and their email address added to the alternative host section.  

 

It has not worked. Looking for a solution as this is has become problematic in our busy schedules.

Hello,

 

Can you confirm that the Alternative Hosts that you add are clicking on the meeting link that is sent to them via email when they are added as an alternative host? If email notifications are disabled on your account they will not receive this. The Alternative Host has to click on the link that is sent to them so that when they join the meeting they are recognized as the Alternative Host.
