Account Upgrade

I recently upgraded to a Pro paid account, and I'd like to know if my existing Zoom meetings scheduled under the Basic plan will automatically convert to the paid plan, allowing for an extended duration. I chose a paid account for this very reason, and I’d love to avoid rescheduling my previously planned meetings to ensure I have that extended duration.

Hi @Jesse5upgrade!

It's possible that the license you purchased has not yet been assigned or has been assigned to a different user under your account. Kindly follow these steps on how to check and assign the license:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. Click User Management, then Users.
  3. Locate or search for the user whom you want to assign a license.
  4. Click Edit at the end of the user row.
    This will open a window.
  5. Choose the user type to assign.
  6. After choosing the user type, use the dropdown to select the license.
  7. Click Save.

Hello @Jesse5,

Welcome to the Zoom Community! We're glad to have you here.

Yes, all your previously scheduled meetings will automatically have the extended duration, as long as the license has been assigned to your account. There's no need to reschedule them.

Let us know if this helps or if you need further assistance.

Hello @Jesse5upgrade! Kindly double-check which account is currently logged in. Upon reviewing your account, it shows that the account used on your Jesse5 account has successfully assigned the license. If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Thank you for your ongoing support. I need assistance with one more setting. I want to embed the password into my invite. I followed the instructions below and the passcode will not get embedded into the invite.

Can you please check my settings to make that happen, please

Thank you for confirming. I have marked the above answer as a solution for your first inquiry. To enable the embed passcode for one-click join in meeting invites, sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit account settings. Navigate to Account Management, then Account Settings. Click the Meeting tab, and under Security, toggle the Embed passcode in invite link for one-click join option to enable it. If prompted, confirm the change. For group settings, follow a similar process under User Management, selecting the appropriate group. For individual settings, go to Settings, click the Meeting tab, and toggle the option under Security. If the option is grayed out, it may be locked at a higher level.
