Accessing a scheduled meeting from calendar

If I schedule a zoom meeting directly from my Google calendar, when I go to click on the meeting to start it, I get the notice that the meeting is waiting for the host to start the meeting but I am the host.  This is crazy.  Please help

I have been experiencing this problem exactly for a few weeks now. Please advise solution as its causing me a lot of problems and my clients are not impressed.
