Am I alone in misunderstanding the design of Zoom Mail? I just added on a small environment to test and evaluate. The FIRST thing I discover when sending an email to my gmail account, is that the message arrives into my gmail recipient as a "Zoom Mail Notification"!! I view that Notification and then find that I have to click a button in that email which then directs me to a webview of the original email. Is it me or this crazy??!!!!!! I have to be missing something because there cannot possibly be a billion dollar company with pretty good technology....that forgot how email works.
How do recipients reply to Zoom emails?? Reply to the Notification?? Every email from Zoom has the same subject...."Zoom Email Notification". You wouldn't even know which email you're replying to.
Look, I get it that there are use-cases where one wants to send an encrypted email....and anybody on an enterprise email platform has that intrinsic ability through the host email platform or an add-on mail filter product. So yes, there are times when we WANT this 'secure envelope' behavior and most people understand what to do when they receive one of those. But I'm dumbfounded that Zoom would do this.
Am I missing something??!!! (AIMS??!!!)
