How do I get someone to stop spamming me with their zoom meeting invites?

A spammy online marketer keeps sending me Zoom email invites, and it's clogging up my inbox. I never subscribed to their thing and there isn't a way to unsubscribe/remove from list through the zoom invites that I can find. I don't want to block the emails because it will block all Zoom meeting invites and I do need access for work purposes. Nor do I want to just create a new folder because real meetings will get lost in the spammy jungle. Does zoom have no way to ask to be removed from someone's meetings?

SAME!!! I'm considering joining the meeting and just letting them have it for spamming me this way. Zoom needs to fix this!

Me too! I get these annoying spam messages all time! I've tried reaching out to support about this for quite a while, it's been going on for years. I also used to get spam Go To Webinar invites but they now have a 'Report Spam' link on their emails... come on Zoom! Get with the times and please sort this bug out ASAP.

I am having the exact same issue. It's unacceptable that Zoom offers no way to block these guys or even report them for abuse of the system.

It seems to be getting worse and the spammers are sending to email addresses I haven't used in a long time as well.

You seem not to have taken this problem seriously enough because it is unresolved. I get at least 5 or 6 invite to Zoom calls every week that I have never signed up for at an email address I rarely use when signing up for Zoom calls.

This is a terrible response. Please provide an abuse email we can forward these emails so your team can crack down on all your spammy accounts.  I am so sick of getting email from Zoom with no ability to unsubscribe that I am close to just blocking all zoom emails completely.

Your canned answer is nothing but BS.

Legally you need to have an unsubscribe link IN EVERY EMAIL SENT.  Also since you have a service others utilize and use inappropriately, you should also have a 'report spam' link in every single email your system sends out no matter the user.

This issue has been reported for years but Zoom refused to do the right thing and fix it

Terrible customer service.

This is accurate. You are breaking CanSpam laws and I think the only option is for us all in this community... and ALL Zoom users, is to report Zoom to the FTC.

I wholeheartedly agree with their legal violation.  I am deluged with spam webinar garbage from Zoom.

Blocking all emails from zoom domain helped in my case. I was fighting with it for a few months but Zoon is like Microsoft - still on the market because corporations still use this poor quality software.

Me too - there must be hundreds or thousands of people affected by this.
There's no way to get out of the loop because you can only block the emails or report it as spam and it comes from no-reply@ zoom.us
This screencast is an example: https://app.screencast.com/deV89zS8nddIF

It's an apparent spamming loophole that damages Zoom's brand and the email effectiveness as we all start to block the email address.

Me three! This is affecting many people and Zoom doesn't seem to be doing anything about it. This is beyond annoying. I get multiple invites a week from the same user even though I have never signed up for such webinar. I have reported this to Zoom twice and yet the issue remains unresolved. Please take some action!

I am now getting 5-6 per day AND even worse some of the webinars are showing up in my Calendar.  I may have no alternative but to block Zoom from my email provider.  Seriously, it can't be that hard for the dev team to stop the unwanted Zoom emails hijacked by these folks.

If you are using gmail and gcal, there is setting in gcal that blocks automatic calendar invites from people that are not in your contact list. You will get the spam email, but they will not show up on your calendar unless you click "yes" to attending.

This works. I got this from ZOOM:

For future Spam reports please use the T&S webform:  https://zoom.us/trust-form

Select: 'Report Abusive Behavior or Content', cut and paste the spammer's meeting details and contact, send it off and done!

And this we have to do for every spam invite we get? Then, I have to hire someone.

Well, I got that same message from Zoom a month ago and have used it to report but so far nothing has changed, except now I get postings to my Calendar app as well.

Hello Community Members,

We do apologize for the inconvenience.

Our engineering team is currently working on implementing an unsubscribe option for these emails, with the goal of releasing it in April. We will provide further updates as soon as more information becomes available.

In the meantime, please submit any reports via the T&S webform: https://zoom.us/trust-form.

We truly appreciate your understanding and patience.

This is more than an inconvenience. Unsubscribe does not cut it. We need to be able to block the sender and report it as spam...and when Zoom gets enough of those complaints Zoom needs to shut down the spammer's account.

That's a start.. but you MUST ADD a "report spam" button/link as well that actually will go to a person who deals with your users who spam us and poor a stop to them.

CRAP solution. Unsubscribe is not enough. I have been unsubbing for months and I still get the same SPMMY invites from the same and different emails, pitching the same shyt zoom meetings. THERE NEEDS TO BE A SPAM LINK.

Hi Mark,
I see that there is now (May 2025) an unsubscribe option in the Emails received for Meeting invites.
I do think that most of the community support this improvement, but it really doesn't address the bigger picture that Spam Marketers can do this in the first place.
If there were also a "Report as Spam" option in the body of the emails sent, then recipients could report these Spammers back to Zoom, which would hopefully lead to them having their accounts disabled.  Sure they will probably create multiple accounts, but if they keep on getting shut down then it will eventually cause them to give up with this strategy.
Thanks,
George

PLEASE add a way for us to both unsubscribe and mark an account as spam. The owner of the Zoom account should be held accountable, not the email address from which these are sent since they could easily just keep creating new email addresses and continue this spam. This really needs to be fixed, or I'll have to delete my Zoom account and use one of the many other meeting options available.

The issue is that the organizers use a different Gmail address for each new webinar. Unsubscribing doesn't stop them, but it is annoying to constantly unsubscribe, knowing new ones are coming. You need better screening; even a waitlist for new email addresses to be used as the sender and unsubscribe email might help until you can devise stronger measures.

Hello Community Members,

Thank you for your patience and continued support—we truly value your feedback.

We're excited to announce the rollout of our enhanced unsubscribe experience. For lower-tier webinar licenses, all webinar-related emails will now include an unsubscribe link at the bottom. With a single click, recipients can immediately unsubscribe from all webinar communications associated with that Zoom account.

If you change your mind, you’ll have the option to resubscribe right from the confirmation page—making the process quick and seamless.

To help us maintain a trusted email experience, please continue reporting any spam senders via the following link: https://zoom.us/trust-form.

Thank you for being a part of our community as we work to improve your Zoom experience.

Hi @Jakub_M,

Thank you for the feedback.

We've raised your concerns regarding the continued receipt of spam invitations despite unsubscribing. We'll keep you updated as soon as we have more information.

In the meantime, we appreciate your patience.

Despit unsubscribing I am still getting these emails and calendar invites clog up my already busy schedule. Now the emails are coming without an Unsubscribe link!!!

Also getting constant spam invitations despite clicking the unsubscribe button. If nothing changes soon I will have to block Zoom itself and mark as spam. I'm sure if enough people do this there will be an impact on email deliverability so this problem should be prioritised fast. I would be happy with accessing my account and clicking an option to not receive any invites unless i turn this off. There should also be the ability to mark an account as spam because there has clearly been a significant increase in cases recently.

GoToWebinar is just smarter than these BS corp-speak replies.

We need a "report Abuse" option, not an unsubscribe, becaise they just roll up another email address and add us to their next list.

Plus, after enough "Abuse" Reports, you can disable/terminate the account.

You are not "taking this seriously", you're "wishing we go away".

It seems to be escalating for me, more and more and intrusive events posted into my calendars. Ridiculous that it can't be resolved in a timely manner.  This has been happening to me for almost a year now; multiple reports and screen shots sent to the Zoom folks.  I've just started looking at Google Meet and it seems to meet all my needs.

These Idea Circuit people are relentless. This is the unsubscribe page. I have unsubscribed 10 times.

Sorry, as of August 15, 2025 there is still no option to unsubscribe to the unsolicitied invites received through zoom. This one spammer *********** is desperate to grow his attendance. THIS MUST BE STOPPED. Zoom can not be party to this spam.

I received 3 spam zoom calls last week. This is getting out of hand.

I get at least 2-3 A DAY now, and the unsubscribe email addresses keep changing as fast as I can unsubscribe.

I've found a solution to all the spam Emails I get for Zoom meetings I never signed up for, recently been receiving 5 or 6 per day!!!
I only really have one person that I have zoom calls with - remote meetings with a specialist for my son.  We are approaching our last session, so after that I will be able to delete my Zoom account.
All my other work video calls are through Teams these days, so Bye Bye Zoom in a few weeks...

YES!! There needs to be a way to report unauthorized/unrequested repeated calendar and email invites to Zoom meetings. This is a major problem! Every time I decline and delete the unwelcomed events from unknown hosts, the hosts just change the time and send another email and it shows up in my inbox and Google calendar again. This is making me want to cancel our subscription and disconnect from Zoom entirely. Set up an email address so we can at least report these meetings we're getting spammed to attend so we can let you know who the organizers are in the back end. This is seriously damaging my trust is Zoom's ability to keep their access to my calendar secure.
