Hi Everyone,

I have a situation where customer has scheduled a  webinar.

Issue : Customer wants their participants to join their scheduled webinar without registration. However, they want to add two more fields like EID, email id while joining that webinar.

May I know is it possible?

As far as I know only in registration page we can add fields. Please help me if there is any workaround for it

hi @AslamAION0606
That is a contradiction. People register and we get their email and can ask for other data, or they dont register and therefore we dont know who they are.
you must do one of the other?

Yeah, that is only way we can get the information and informed the customer as well. However, just wanted to know if there is any alternative for that.

Thank you for your response!

Well @AslamAION0606 ,

They are alternatives for collecting data, but the problem for them is that the only way to track anyone within zoom is by their email address. And if zoom does not collect that, you could gather the email information in some other way, but you would have no way of knowing who was in the meeting unless you.
1. Get them to Regist and get their email
2. Get their email and other data in another place, maybe from a form, and then register them via API into the meeting and email them their personal direct join link.

I had a think about this overnight. Maybe the customer is looking a smoother experience to the user. So, if you know their details, you can register them automatically and then send them an email with their personal join link (so you effectively did the registration for them).
This is 'next level', but maybe that's what your customer wants. And as you are a Zoom partner, you may want to go that extra mile?

Yes, absolutely. The customer prefers not to use the registration process. Instead, they would like to directly schedule a meeting or webinar and share the links with participants. The key requirement is that when participants receive the meeting link, it should not redirect them to a registration page.

Additionally, they have requested that two additional fields be included in the meeting/webinar setup, as shown in the attached screenshot. These fields should be added to the registration or meeting details to meet their specific needs.
