I'm currently on the Pro plan for Zoom. I need to schedule a one-off webinar for up to 300 people. What's the easiest and most cost-effective way of doing this please? Many thanks in advance for your help, it is much appreciated.

Welcome to the Zoom Community, @Mark66.

Unfortunately it appears that @malaika121 had gone to ChatGPT or some other AI source and gotten you an incorrect answer.

To create a Webinar, you will need a Webinar license assigned to your account. First, be sure you are logged into the Zoom Web Portal with your account. Then go to the Zoom Pricing page for events (https://zoom.us/pricing/events) and click as shown here:

Once you click the Buy Now button, make sure you click the Monthly One Time option, so you will not be billed a second month. Make sure your Webinar date is within this one-month window before proceeding.

That process gets you the license. Then you have to assign that license to your account. See this Zoom Support article for guidance:

Then I recommend spending time scheduling a couple of “test webinars” to get the hang of things.

Let me know if you need additional assistance/guidance!
